Overview

Where they are relevant to the community (and it is responsible to do so) Corsaire releases security-related tools from time to time. Included here are a collection of in-house tools, and third-party tools that have been ported to the Apple OS X platform (and are hosted here with the authors permission).

WebScarab Mac OS X package

This is a Mac OS X package of the OWASP WebScarab web application assessment tool. WebScarab features request and response editing, session analysis and BeanShell scripting. Full details of the tool can be found on the normal OWASP site. The package includes runtime changes that allow WebScarab to behave as a native Mac OS X application. This includes the ability to be run from the dock and to use the Mac menu bar. No changes have been made to the source code of the application. The package is hosted here with the agreement of the author Rogan Dawes.

Burp Suite Mac OS X package

Version 1.1

This is a Mac OS X package of the Burp Suite web application assessment toolset. Burp Suite features request and response editing, automated testing and the submission of binary data. Full details of the Burp tool can be found on the normal Portswigger site. The package includes Java runtime changes that allow Burp to behave as a native Mac OS X application. This includes the ability to be run from the dock and to use the Mac menu bar. No changes have been made to the source code of the application. The package is hosted here with the agreement of the Burp team.

Paros Mac OS X package

Version 3.2.13

This is a Mac OS X package of the Paros web application assessment tool and web scanner. Paros features request and response editing and automated scanning of Cross Site Scripting and SQL injection vulnerabilities. Full details of the Paros tool can be found on the normal Paros site. The package includes runtime changes that allow Paros to behave as a native Mac OS X application. This includes the ability to be run from the dock and to use the Mac menu bar. No changes have been made to the source code of the application. The package is hosted here with the agreement of the Paros team.
